What kind of trouble? The album probably won't have much legs once she settles down in Vegas, but that's like... "normal" for a Britney album. She got almost 300,000 people to pick up Blackout in the midst of losing custody, growing her hair back and drug tests. And that's with "Gimme More" being dead by the time the album came out and it did worse on radio than "Work Bitch". "Piece of Me" hadn't even been recognized yet too. Similarly, "HIAM" was beyond dud status by the time Femme Fatale came out, "TTWE" hadn't been out maybe 3 weeks and the whole album was already online weeks before release and 276,000 people bought it, plus maintained sales for a couple months.
And death at "you do realize that many flop songs hit the top 10 the first day and fall off the next day" when you have "Dope" as an example against Britney in the OP, when that mess is gonna be battling "Venus" for free-falling in the next day.
But to properly answer the question, no. She's gonna open with decent enough numbers, hold on well enough over December to rack in sales. "Perfume" is exactly the right kind of exposure for her since promotion will be low to nothing.

Not true, Femme Fatale was a huge decline in terms of sales and there was heavy buzz and single success surrounding that album and the album still opened with 276,000 copies and fell to 75,000 copies the second week with a 73% plummet.
Blackout - 290,000+ (2007) Total Sales of 1,000,000+
Circus - 505,000+ (2008) Total Sales of 1,700,000+, #1 single and comeback buzz
Femme Fatale - 276,000+ (2011) Total sales of 800,000+ with #1 singles and heavy buzz
I wouldn't be surprised if "Britney Jean" opened up with 180,000-200,000+ and I doubt the abum will be certified platinum unless the over ship the album.

Britney Jean might surprise us. Whatever it is, I am very satisfied with the songs she's been releasing so far. Work bitch and Perfume are so different and I love both songs. Now I am craving for what else she has in this album. This might be her best album after Blackout.

Nah.
Britney Jean is at #2 on the itunes album charts (based on pre orders alone) , and thats because king Eminem is at #1 , otherwise she would be the undeniable #1.
About "Perfume" it just hit the top 10 , and its growing, its not decreasing or anything

Yeah, it is. No one really cares besides her hardcore fans at this point. Well that's what happens when you don't promote and don't point out grade A material. I've been a fan of Britney forever but Work Bitch and Perfume definitely aren't up to par with her previous works. Also, all of those #1's for Britney Jean are pretty much worthless since they'll probably all drop majorly in a few days. Work Bitch went #1 a lot of places too initially...lol.

Work Bitch was a massive mistake and they should call it a Vegas promo single and forget about it but Britney has a large fanbase and will do fine, I know I will be buying it. Perfume is a great song and while it may not rocket to the top it could still perk up and more importantly have longevity, the video will give it an inevitable boost and hopefully she will go into full promotion mode now.
Britney will always do relatively well, she's proven herself and made her millions already, she should just make music that she loves and enjoy herself at this point.

Britney has the second most purchased album right now on iTunes behind only Eminem. no banner. nothing.
This is better than either Katy or Gaga, the current ~*ITttt GorlzzZZ*~ accomplished even after heavy VMA promo, the "competition" thing, a golden truck, clown face makeup, and faux controversies.
Whether she ends up outselling them, Britney proves she has one of the largest fanbases, and certainly can go toe to toe with the new bitches.

If Femme Fatale sold 1.7 million with 3 hit singles (not huge hits but still hits), this album will presumably struggle to hit a million WW or Gold in the US,even in the long run. It'll still open with 135k+ atleast though..But then,I won't say that it's in trouble.I don't think anyone from her management is expecting it to do any better,so they should just release it when it's scheduled to and plan a little promotion, which they most likely won't.
