It was a pretty good episode, they definitely made the right move at tribe council.
I just hope the rest of the season doesn't end up being predictable since it seems like the final three have been pinned already, at least online. I'd love to see Tyson's downfall, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon if at all since he's been playing great lately. Also Aras and Vytas are very likable and charming, at least in my eyes, but I think they just got too confident and comfortable. They both seemed to believe they were masterminds and everyone else was unaware of how threatening they were, when really it was them who were unaware.
SUCH a good episode! Definitely the best of the season. I was sad to see
John
go but I like
Laura M
too so I'm good.
Tyson is playing such a good game, I would not be surprised if he won. And even though he can be a bit... smarmy, I can't help but appreciate his gameplay.
Ciera is REALLY surprising me, I didn't really like her at first, but she's a masterful social player. She's even better than her mom!
I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THAT SMUG BASTARD GONE! And in an epic blindside at that. So priceless. Now I just pray that
Vytas
is next. He is the WORST.
And Tina can go too. I liked her at first but it looks like from the preview for next week that she's gonna be a bitter bitch.

What show are you watching
Yes they're smug and untrustworthy but Aras is so cute and the way Vytas handled those women on the new Galang was flawless. They're like those guys who you know are going to screw you over but you can't help but want to side with them. Their over-confidence and arrogance was definitely was off-putting though.
I guess I'm just stating my opinions from a survivor fanatic point of view and not from a casual person's view that anyone playing aggressively is a bastard or bitch. I much rather watch blindsides, shifts of power, and crazy tribals than people joining an alliance and getting comfortable. So that's why I've always thought people like Aras and Vytas are more enjoyable than followers like Monica or Gervase, or wallflowers like Katie.

I get what you're saying, I guess cockiness just REALLY turns me off.
For the record, I don't think an aggressive playing style constitutes someone being a bastard or a bitch. I think that arrogance (in Aras' and Vytas' case) and threatening to form a jury voting block (in Tina's case) constitutes that.
And I enjoy blindsides etc and aggressive play as well: Some of my favorite players from last season were Malcolm, Reynold, Corrine, and Andrea, all of whom played aggressively. And let us not forget survivor's all-time goddess Parvati <3
It was really just the smug superiority that made me dislike them. And (in Monica's case) a condescending attitude. Same reason I despised Cochran, Dawn and Sherri last season.
I'm definitely rooting for Tyson and Ciera. They're playing the best game, plus Tyson is likeable. He's cocky but not annoying, he's the kind of arrogant that cracks you up.
Ciera is the smartest of the bunch. I knew it since the beginning.
I'm surprised Ciera has lasted this long as her head has been on the chopping block for pretty much every tribal council she has been to. Kudos to her for still being in the game.
Two tribal councils, and instead of twice the exciting, it was twice the boring. It's really not fun as a viewer when you're able to correctly predict both exits before the episode even started airing.
The only thing is that the always pesky Redemptshit Island is still in play and someone will come back again, but I don't think it'll affect the final outcome.
I get why they were two, they were very predictable. I wouldn't count on things being that predictable though. I don't know if this is the first time you are watching Survivor, but ALL seasons I've known it's between two people or sometimes you know is one of them. What makes it great is when there are blindsides and stuff like that, or when someone who is on the outs wins immunity. Survivor is not the game were you watch and don't what's going to happen. You do most of the times.
Loved tonight's episode. It's always cool to see iconic challenges (like the gross food eating one) return and seeing Monica's descent into crazyville was amusing. And I like half the episodes to be "predictable" so that the blindsides are that much more shocking.

I think this is going to be one of those seasons where the pre-merge was better than the merge. Next to go will probably be Laura M. since even Ciera is willing to turn on her, and Katie will probably be treated as a goat and spared. Monica really took a lot of flak this episode, just like her hubbie did in the past, but I still think she'll make it to the end. At this point I'm getting Sherri vibes from her. Tyson and Gervase, especially Tyson, look like they have this game in the bag. They'll probably get Ciera's approval to take out Laura next, or they'll go for an easy Katie vote. So I'm guessing they'll bro-up with Hayden and Caleb to make sure Laura, Katie, and then Ciera are the next three to go. Then they put Monica into play to help them get rid of the last remaining newbies. They might not rely so much on Monica's vote since she's a "lose cannon" and a "wildcard" but it looks like under-the-radar Hayden and Caleb are going to end up somewhere between 4th-6th. Then they have a Tyson, Gervase, Monica final three. Tyson wins, redeems himself, end of season. I know Survivor is rarely that predictable but oh well, just guessing here.
