Very disappointing. Born This Way was my favourite album released by the main popgirls in the 2010 - 2011 period so I was really looking forwards to something great here but I didn't get it. Not even close.
If you look through my post history to August this year you might see how much I absolutely hated Applause - my opinion on it has not changed at all (it's still an awful song) but I would rank it Top 3 on the album. She absolutely ruined I Wanna Be With You with those new, awful, lyrics.
On the plus side, Aura is one of the best pop songs of the year, if not thé best. Gypsy is also a nice enough song. I can see a couple of the tracks growing on me over time, but it's never going to be my favourite Gaga album. Such a shame, just 4 months ago I would've said "You can't be a true fan of pop music if you don't like Gaga."
but do like Gypsy.
