All of them are artists btw, as long as they can compose/write music. Or if they can solely create interpretations of songs.

Singing about SEX does not stop you from being an artist. Monotony and lack of creativity do stop you however.

the ones who actually played a big part in creating the music put out, not just being a pretty face and a voice/cash cows

But is the music of those who are supposedly very involved in their music art? I have a hard time calling someone whose singles have all been from one genre for the most part (and yes I'm talking about your fave).

I think she uses her abilities and skills in a great, creative way, I also find her performances both beautiful and full of emotion.
