No, there's no way. Nintendo could constantly perform how they are right now and not be finished until at least 2050.
Sega had everything riding on one console, not to mention it had the PS1, PS2 and eventually the XBOX (and GCN) to compete with. All had a wider selection of games that appealed to more fans.

Dreamcast did really bad but it's actually pretty acclaimed now. I can't speak for any of it cause I never played but some ppl called it the most 'forward' console of all time and **** like that lol.
But since Dreamcast ruined Sega, I gotta go with that.

The Wii U is doing fine. It's going to take time for people to need to replace their Wiis. Next year when Mario Kart and SSBWU come out, the system will start selling well.
Also, Nintendo already has the 3DS smashing and they're on course to win this generation, again.
