I think Hoopa is most likely the Mew of the generation, and that is sad because it basically confirms no Grass/Fairy Celebi or Steel/Fairy Jirachi.

Well it's obviously a pattern, so it wouldn't make any sense to retype them if the Generation that introduced the new type didn't have a Fairy ''cute'' Pokemon like Mew, Celebi, Jirachi.

They should have just retyped everything tbh, Psychic is a terrible typing, and Fairy is superior to it in every way imaginable.

Celebi not being Fairy should be a crime, and they all should gain the type because of that reason alone... maybe Mew could retain the Psychic type because it's the Ancestor of Pokemon and I don't think they would make it solely Fairy, also because of Mewtwo. Ehh
