Oh, where are the bullies is this a flop first week too honeys??
See, that's why people shouldnt get ahead of time and make fun of people's first weeks in your fave havent' released it yet so u can use that as receipts
I dont think is bad at all, is really good tbh but judging by how her stanbase was making fun of Katy
I don't understand how people are going to drag anything more than 300K when she didn't just have one of the biggest hits of her career. Applause sold 218K first week and she is nearly doubling that. Others sell huge with singles a around half with the album. There is nothing to drag here, but yourselves in my opinion.
The problem is that Gaga went from having a 1 million+ opening to one of 375 K. That is a steep drop and a huge loss in audience in a matter of one album to the next.
The 300k threshold is tough to break for solo females, even if they’re riding the momentum of a big hit (or, in Miley’s case, two). That said, it should be underscored that (a) selling 200-300k records in one’s first week is an impressive feat in any case, and certainly these days, and (b) from such first-week seeds mighty sales oaks can grow.
Breaking the threshold.

Mess at the hypocrisy.
People used to bring up the amazon deal to bash Gaga saying that she only sold 1.1 million because of the deal.
Now the numbers are roughly the same that BTW sold without the deal after a flop era and medium hit lead single and people are saying she's flopping???
Mess,

Katy Perry, the "biggest star in the world" right now, with an absolute blockbuster of a massive hit (roar) moves 287k = That's pretty damn good for a singles artist!!!
Lady Gaga, the "flop who's career is over" with a mediocre top 10 hit (Applause) is predicted to move 375k = HORRIBLE!!! Karma for the monstas!!!
I swear ever since Gaga released BTW nothing has gone right for her. That album was a mistake and it shows with ARTPOP and everything we've gotten so far with all of the disappointing numbers. But to be fair Gaga was never a strong album seller it wasant until BTW that she hit a million but before that TFM opened 179k.

Careful, girls. Look what happened to Applause when you wrote ha off.
^Yeah, but they had to practically inject "Applause" with steroids in its first two weeks to keep it from plummeting. They won't be able to do the same thing for the album.

It got a video release and a performance . That's typical for any song.
And now ya'll are using 1.1M as her total sales. .
If she hits 400k, that's amazing tbh. Especially in the sales we're in so far this month.
