EDM is (for the most part) tiring and boring trash. It has no rhythm and she can't dance to it at all (Only Girl, Disturbia their performances). If she made a full EDM album I'd probably stop stanning and so would the GP.

There has always be good and bad EDM.
When you're knowledge goes no further than David Guetta and Avicii then yes, you can say EDM got worse because those producers got worse. But there is a lot of great EDM out there, and it's getting better and better every day. You can't make such a statement.

MOTS/AGLM are pop album with a dash of reggae completely different than what I want. Rihanna still loves reggae hence why the reggae act in DWT is her favourite act. Also Rihanna has never even touched dancehall&soca which is different from reggae.

It's awful if you're listening to Guetta and Avicii ofc as Cain sad. It's like that with literally every genre. The are good and bad songs. Pop is awful if you listen to Roar and Dr. Luke for example. EDM is great nowadays with Martin Garrix for example which got everyone with his breakdown. I don't even consider Avicii and Guetta as EDM anymore they are just pop. Thinking But You from Calvin is good too, listen.

The fact that my knowledge in EDM goes further than Calvin&Guetta... doesn't change the fact that EDM is crap.

I'm with Mike. Rih can do quality EDM or whatever, top the charts and whatnot with it, but let's not act like Reggae-inspired pop Rihanna (whatever you want to call it) isn't where she shines either. It's not that EDM is "old" or that she can't pull it off, because that theory is obviously null. It's that there's 30 other mainstream artists who do it and have done batches just as well. Man Down? What's My Name? Watch N' Learn? No Love Allowed? Rude Boy? Come now, who else?

I wouldn't mind one good album with the majority of those tracks.

Okay, EDM has always been underground, and mainstream producers have always used it as inspiration for the current music industry.
A few years ago it blew up, and now it's back to underground again.
And all the maintream producers of then are crap now, cause they're trying to hold on to their past success.
But there is a new up and coming generation that explores new things and produces amazing music.
It happens with all genres.

We never said that EDM is where Rih shines the most or hated reggae. I adore all of that songs and agree that Rih suits that the most.
We are just discussing about the EDM rn.

Even if I want her to go deeper that her simple pop/reggae track like WNL, WMN, NLA etc and add some dancehall&soca something she hasn't touch.
