I did a few songs with her but they didn't make her album - and when I listened to her new stuff, they didn't fit. But I know her, and she's really nice, sweet and funny. She reminds me a lot of myself in her creativity and fierceness, and in her weirdness.
Before people start to assume that this means Azealia has suddenly warmed to Gaga, this interview was probably done before September, which is when all the drama began.
I'm glad Azelia understood the importance about artistry. If a song doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. It can always be saved for the next or another artist's album.
I hope those tracks leak someday, I'm sure they would give me so much life!
