She is a so called album artist, the biggest celebrity in the world, a touring force, Forbes etc. and all of the others things that were said about her from BTW until now. So why then are we using the excuse that Applause wasn't a hit like it's Katy's fault she smashed and Gaga didn't. No matter which way you spin it this a is pretty embarrassing sales decline for someone like Gaga and if the prediction holds I'm curious as to how much ARTPOP will sell in total since as BTW proved, Gaga tends to be rather front loaded with sales.
they keep bringing up Katy but she's a "singles artist". And in the singles department, Katy blows Gaga out of the war (like check the stats of Roar vs Applause, the former is like above it everywhere rn not even lying hihi).
