Another thing that bothers me about your post is that you're so upset by what Monsters were saying in the PRISM projection thread. I mean DO YOU think Katy was a flop selling only 287k first week? I mean I didn't, so stop overgeneralizing. Unless everyone in the fanbase said it don't assume that, that is everyone's opinion. We both know that these sales are more NORMAL than selling 1 million first week in today's sales market anyway. The next female pop artist to sell 1 million first week will be Adele/ Possibly Taylor. |
whether it's gaga's fault, her team's, or the pope's, it doesn't matter--she got the title in a very cheap way and no one respects her as having sold a million copies in one week that way.
your last part is irrelevant. of course i don't think she was a "flop" for selling 287K, i didn't say you or i didn't. the general consensus here is that she flopped/underperformed, so that's OBviously what i was referring to...?
