I don't know why she's so adamant with her refusal to admit Madonna's influence on her. She's doing herself a disservice. It just makes her look defensive and insecure. I realize Gaga wants to be as big as Madonna but it's just not going to happen. No band can be as big or influential as the Beatles, and no other female artist in our lifetime will be a big or influential as Madonna. Point blank period.
The things monsters tell themselves to let gaga appear as some sort of victim who struggled and was poor and homeless.. it's so embarrassing. She went to school with the Hilton sisters and her father has a million (if not billion) dollar internet company. Those fantasies about gaga being raped and being homeless just so people can say she struggled as much as Madonna.. please stop. it's astonishing the lengths people go to somehow make her a struggling artist.. she wasn't. She promoted herself in clubs like lots of people, but she came from a rich family. That is what it is. It's not wrong nor is it embarrassing. But she seems to think so herself.
She was a rich girl from a rich family who went to one of the most expensive schools of the US.
That is a FACT.
Not that it matters or makes her less "artistic".
