Nobody in this thread should be talking badly about this when Sony lost 5+ billion (YES BILLION) dollars last year. Nintendo will be fine.

The PlayStation 3 was always selling at a loss. Sony were happy to do so and in the end they were only behind the Wii.

The Wii U isn't being sold at a loss and those sale figures are horrible.

Nintendo already confirmed the Wii U is being sold at a loss due to the gamepad controller.

I was going to get the Wii U for Super Smash Bros this holiday season, but that's not even coming out this year, so they lost that sale. That's Nintendo's problem, you only buy the system to play a game if you're really attached to the series. Most people here only have a 3DS because of Pokemon.

Why buy a Nintendo product when you can have an iPad? There are exactly three reasons: Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon.

They never said Smash Bros. would be out before 2014 though. In fact I remember Sakurai saying it would be out in 2014 at the very earliest.

So a mess at you disregarding Nintendo for a promise it never made.

As if they didn't make a myriad of other game release promises that they broke. I waited in line for 8 hours for the damn system and to this date still haven't played a game that was truly satisfying. I expected so much more, and they have just let me down at every turn so far. They deserve this.
