LUKE BRYAN'S "CRASH MY PARTY" BECOMES THE SONG WITH THE MOST WEEKS OF THE YEAR
After 25 total weeks during its' chart run and 21 consecutive weeks at top 10, Robin Thicke's smash summer hit single, "Blurred Lines", has tied with Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" as the song with the most consecutive weeks at the top ten, it also tied for the third place for the song with the most weeks of the year with Phillip Phillips' "Gone, Gone, Gone" with 25 weeks only behind Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It" (26 weeks) and Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" (27 weeks). "Blurred Lines" remains strong in the chart after becoming the song with the most consecutive weeks at #1 (8 weeks), it currently placed at #10. His follow-up single, "Give It 2 U" currently peaked at #7.
Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party" ends it chart run after 27 weeks, making it the longest running song of the countdown of the year, surpassing Selena Gomez's "Come & Get It", which ended its' run after 26 weeks, and the second longest running song of the countdown ever, behind Hunter Hayes' "Wanted", which ended its' run after 33 weeks. His new single, "That's My Kind of Night", currently peaked at #8.
