Flag Day? Memorial Day? Labor Day? What the hell are these?
And actually, it's probably a pretty good point that every country in the world (excluding the UK and Denmark, as we are 2 Kewl 4 Skewl) have their own version of the 4th of July, so can celebrating your nation really be considered a Local Holiday?

Thanksgiving would be the answer and Halloween isn't a holiday but it is local seeing as no one but people in English speaking countries take it seriously

People in English speaking countries take it seriously? It's just a day to dress up and have fun with friends, as is the case across many countries around the world
according to Wikipedia. Most people haven't taken Halloween seriously for hundreds of years.
