01. J. Holiday - Back of my Lac

Okay I'm not in the mood for long write-ups but this album deserves me elaborating on how amazing it is. First I'm gonna list all the reasons why I adore this album more than life itself:
1. I haven't been soo addicted to an album since Ashanti's Concrete Rose.
2. He's got an excellent voice and he can even do falsetto.
3. Any song from the album has the power of turning the shittiest of my days into a perfect day.
4. Suffocate is the perfect song to dedicate and trust me it gives great results.
5. He doesn't sing only about love like most r&b cats out there.
6. His looks are definitely pleasing to the eye.
7. The album is full of interesting musical arrangements.
8. He's a weed-smoker!
9. He's one of my most played artists of the year.
10. It is mainstream music, but he still keeps the true essence of r&b.
I guess the above list is pretty self-explanatory but I have to say this is a must for ANY music fan out there.
This masterpiece is sooo good that I even had to order the import at my local music store and pay twice its price. It's that good.
Instead of just ranking my top 5 songs, I'm gonna rank the entire album!
Ranking:
1. Fatal
2. Be With Me
3. Suffocate
4. Laa Laa
5. Thug Commandments
6. Fallin'
7. Without You
8. Bed
9. Pimp In Me
10. Betcha Never Had
11. Come Here
12. Back of my Lac
13. Ghetto
14. Thank You
Don't let the ranking fool you, I would put every song at #1 but I had to rank them somehow.
When you listen to this album you'll get one of three reactions: a) "This album is excellent from beginning to end and nothing compares to it", b) "I don't usually listen to this type of music but I must admit this work of art is pretty amazing", or c) "I don't like it, but I'm a dumb crack***** and my opinions don't matter"
