If ARTPOP were to leak the same time Born This Way did, we'd get the album tomorrow. Though leaks are never the same, but it's something to get excited about I guess..

no if the album leaked the same time as BTW we'd be getting it in more than a week. At least we know we're getting it at least on Tuesday 'cause of the 02 stream. (iTunes stream hasn't been confirmed to me)

No it's not. The only reason why an album of a high-profile artist leaks, is because it has to be sent to retailers in time for the official release date. Even before that moment, during the process of manufacturing, there are loads of possible moments for it to leak. Which is exactly what happened in the case of "Born This Way".

Expecting something similar to happen with a stream is highly unlikely. There is no physical material to be stolen, therefore it is much easier for her team to keep it locked up in secrecy. I suppose we could consider ourselves lucky that we will have the opportunity to listen to the album in the highest quality imaginable. On the other hand, having to go through the excitement of an actual 'leak' is something I really enjoy. It's so entertaining and nerve-wrecking.

When was the Japan release date? Hm.

The album will leak before the 02 stream (even itunes Stream if that is really happening).

The album is out next week on Wednesday, so it will be printed and sent to stores a few days before. I fully expect a leak this weekend the lastest.

Japan gets the album in 7 days, so technically within the next 2 days would have been a leak if it were going on the same time as the release schedule of Born This Way.

This album won't leak imo. It will be streamed on iTunes before it has a chance.
