Meaning: heart, spirit, center, feelings

Examples:
心 ・ こころ ・ kokoro - heart, soul, mind, spirit, ideas, thoughts, feelings, emotions
心理 ・ しんり ・ shinri - mental state, mentality, psychology
心配 ・ しんぱい ・ shinpai - anxiety, concern, worry, uneasiness, good offices
熱心 ・ ねっしん ・ nesshin - enthusiasm, zeal, fervor, earnestness
中心 ・ ちゅうしん ・ chuushin - center, middle
This one has always been one of my favorite, cause if its meaning both being "heart"/"soul", but also "feelings"/"emotions"/"ideas" as if they were one thing.
And it also serves as a first step in learning my favorite Kanji.
