Whenever somebody says 'real music' you know they're a dumbass. Oh you listen to bands from the 70s instead of mainstream pop music. Oh you're 16 and listening to the Beatles instead of Lady Gaga. Oh you go on Katy Perry videos and complain about how this isn't real music and how it's such a shame that this generation listens to that instead of Nirvana which you listen to, so that automatically makes you better and more intelligent. Because the type of music you listen to TOTALLY determines your intelligence level. Oh good for you teenage music savior who is totally different then all the other teenagers out there.
Music is music. Every one is different and prefers different things.
All I see in this thread is jealousy. Y'all can stay typing up your angry posts while I sit here, enjoying my superior taste and basking in my double digit I.Q.
I hate it when the snob has bad taste (like the person in the OP). Also don't like it when they don't give reasons why they like and don't like certain music. Everyone has snobbish charcteristics by saying X is better than Y and that is perfectly fine, it's good to voice your opinion on music as it can be interesting to read (if they say why) and starts good discussions.
This was their argument for "pop" music w/ no talent... #OOP
