I think a lot of it has to do with the way the "this is your one shot" game is played. Some people get to slide through with crappy performances while others who really give a great performance on the day are pushed out in favor of someone who did really good a month ago. Some people don't like that and that's their right. She didn't put on a performance worthy of advancing on the day, whether her voice deserved it or not. But what's done is done. If she does what she did the first time, she'll stay.
