Rolling my eyes. MJH is lyrically asinine regardless of whether or not the production is good, that became irrelevant with those lyrics. Swine is a total mess. When I first saw the teaser video for the performance at Swinefest it reminded me of like Death From Above 1979 or something and I was so ready for it to be my favorite track thus far but having heard the finished product its just as ugly and messy as the live performance at Swinefest.
Im all for darker tunes and electro rock influences, ARTPOPs production is reminiscent of Kate Bush and Depeche Mode imo, among other dark 80s synth. But Swine just is, no.
I'm so confused.
