That's not true. Claiming "everyone" liked her during the Fame era is a reach. Because I know ALOT of people who hated her and I was pretty much the only one in my circle of friend's that liked her. And not even just in my circle of friend. People in my classes hated her because of Poker Face and Just Dance and they called her music annoying and dragged it through the mud. I've stuck with Gaga despite that. I could've easily joined in but I LOVED her music. The Fame was probably one of the first albums I bought. I thought she was extremely creative and one of the best NEW artist that we've had in a long time. I kind of lost her in the Born THis Way era because she became to gimmicky and the Born This Way album seemed so messy. The lyrics were tacky and it sounded like she was trying to hard to get the gays on her side. What she didn't know is, she already had us. She didn't have to make EDM music and shoots rainbows out her arse. Her songs (sans a few) lacked substance. She became more of a gay gimmick than an artist. But it didn't make me dislike her because I understood her intentions of wanting us to empower ourselves and connect with her. But it just seemed to much. And with this era, I just think she's trying to hard to be noticed and Applause sounded like a BTW reject. I think during The Fame era, she was at her best creatively and artistically and let the attention come to her, instead of the other way around. More people liked her now then they did in that era. So I don't understand. If we were "sheep" we would be hopping on the mother monster bandwagon like a lot of others. A lot of us don't hate her. We just don't like as we used to. Because she has a weird ego about her now. It replaced the unique Aura that she had in that time era
