That's what I'm saying, sometimes people assume that the 46% is proportionate to sales (which would mean she'd be on track to sell over 350k). I'm saying that's not the case.

However, I won't make any declarative statements on her sales quite yet. My summer prediction was 250-300k though.

The whole Amazon thing is moot anyways, that was a discount placed by Amazon themselves. All losses on that were taken on by Amazon, the label and Gaga got the same amount of money from it as they would have if those albums had sold at normal retail price. It's not the same as a label discounting and taking in less in per-album revenue.

Percentage in = the % of retailers reported.. it has nothing to do with the amount of sales.

But, surely just by statistics, the proportion of retailers reported corresponds roughly to the proportion of sales? Unless for some reason retailers that sell more copies are more inclined to report early or something.
