No. It depends of what you like. I really LOVE dance music so I think Venus should have been the single instead. However, DWUW is great too, it's showing a new side of Gaga's music. I agree that DWUW is more ''basic'' than most of the songs on ARTPOP so far, but as Gaga said: STOP DIGITAL HATE. SPREAD LOVE.
Ya'll are a mess I have a feeling the unnecessary hate is due to the song taking Venus' spot in release.
Both songs are good but clearly DWUW was a better choice it was an instant smash while Venus is hard to get into it as far as the GP is concerned.
Set personal feelings aside and look at it from a business perspective they were not gonna pick Venus over DWUW.

No there's Telephone. The single isn't bad. Its different from her usual stuff but it has a lot of potential. It has the possibility of gaining interest in Pop, Rhythmic, HAC, and Urban markets so that's pretty significant for Gaga.
