No. I'm saying that on this site, its hard to have a logical debate. The education level is low, so I understand in a sense why its hard to have a conversation about a good topic here, without a few idiots that flame and cause it to go down a notch. And if you have a good argument at hand and it goes more than a few simple sentences its a gif reply or a tl;dr.

I definitely see where you're coming from. People usually love or hate philosophy though. If they love questioning ideas and debating, they already know this is the thread for them. If they don't enjoy doing these things, I believe they won't even post.

What type of point is that? I'm not going to get into a philosophical debate over popstars however if there was a thread where people share the same interests in philosophy I'm damn sure going to join to learn and express opinions.

Also I'd really enjoy knowing what simple vocabulary has to do with it. Thoughts and ideas can be expressed through bewildering words or as simple as expressions or/and simple 5th grade vocab.
I'd like to also point out that not everyone on ATRL has english as their mother tongue.

Not about pop stars. But about other topics, like say, religion, spirituality, or anything on morality. We've had many topics on these. And many just can't handle it. When a poster makes a smart comment, a person or many would reply in a vapid response. That you have no choice but to dumb down your response so some can understand. I love the idea of this thread, I would just hate for it to be trolled to death.

I'll make sure this thread doesn't turn into everything I hate about ATRL.

Took a class a couple years ago in my first year. I found it quite difficult as it was completely different than what I've known before so I didn't continue afterwards.

But it did change my life and the way I look at things.
