What you guys are only justifying here is the right of the mother to do whatever she chooses with her body, but completely forsaking the right to life of the unborn child.

An unborn fetus has no innate right to life as long as it's inside the mother's womb. It should be her decision if you ask me. The freedom and choice of a person that already is alive and conscious and breathing and in the prime of her life (and, on a sidenote, can have children later on in her life if she chooses so, so it's not a great loss or anything) is immensely more important than that. Once the child is born, there is no going back, but with abortion, she can get pregnant another day when she actually wants to.
And some of you seem to be forgetting another important thing:
In the long run, do you honestly believe a baby that was unwanted is going to receive the same love and affection and attention that a baby that was conceived by choice would? Really? It's actually not very fair towards the child itself to be less appreciated than it deserves.

Honestly, and this is just my personal opinion, if you choose to have a baby aborted, you are choosing to kill an innocent human being. I just think that's wrong. I think that if you become pregnant, you need to follow through with it. If you don't feel you can support the child or don't want the child for whatever reason, you can put it up for adoption or something. I once watched a video on how an abortion takes place (by force, not choice) and it was probably the saddest thing I had ever seen. Everyone in the room was crying and many had turned away and couldn't watch it. It was sad. I understand that in some cases, women have unfairly become pregnant through rape, but still... The fact that you are able to have the child is really brave and I'm not saying that if you had an abortion, you're a coward, but being able to have the child is really brave and you should feel really good about yourself in doing it, because even if you don't keep the child, you did save an innocent child's life by not aborting it. Just keep in mind that abortion is murder. That human being that is being killed doesn't have a voice, but the person having the abortion does, and if they choose to have it, that's fine, but they should know that it's technically murder and it's not right. If I have offended anyone, I'm sorry, I just feel very strongly about stuff like this and I thought it was a good time and place to vent. Thank you.

You aren't saying that abortion should be outlawed or anything and that it should still be everyone's own choice, so I respect your opinion 100%. To each their own!

At the end of day it's the women's choice. I don't think anyone who gets it unplanned (Rape, Condom breaks, etc.) should have to carry through with it. As well if it'll cause health problems to the mom she has every right to an abortion because her own personal safety is her best interest.

So a girl who's been raped should feel it's not right?

It ran its course. This might have been the most civil ethical discussion on ATRL.
