Here's just my two cents,
Because Ke$ha has flirted with so many different genres, her fanbase varies in musical tastes. You can get Ke$ha fans that enjoy only her electropop music (such as her singles show), but dislike her folk and rock-influenced tracks... you can get fans who enjoy her rock side, and prefer it to her more generic pop sound, especially when Dr. Luke makes more contribution to the song than Ke$ha does. Then you can get other fans, who enjoy a range of Ke$ha's sounds, from electro-pop to rock to indie-pop to country. I am the latter... I don't care what genre the song is, if I like the song, that's that. For example, probably my favourite Ke$ha song of all time is "Take It Off", arguably one of Ke$ha's trashiest most auto-tuned electro-pop anthems... yet I still love tracks like "Dirty Love", "Last Goodbye", "Gold Trans Am" and "Past Lives"... but I don't care too much for "Wonderland" or "Love Into The Light".
You're going to get fans who want Ke$ha to do a completely electro-pop filled album somewhat like 'Animal' again, at the expense of 'Ke$ha's create freedom'. You're going to get fans who want Ke$ha to release an album full of rock, indie-pop and country tracks that showcase her vocal ability and talent. You're going to get fans who would like a balance of radio-ready pop hits, with more ballads and mid-tempos released as singles, but the occasional pop-rock or country-pop jam. Nothing that Ke$ha releases is going to please everyone.
