They don't really look like we'd expect them to, but they would be our closest relatives.
Um this is a mockumentary. The NOAA Scientist was an actor. Shame because it's the Animal Planet who reported this. I lost a little respect after this documentary.
I believe in the possibility; however, I haven't seen enough to believe.
That said, while I can't ever rule out a possibility, I think it's highly unlikely that such a huge primate would be undiscovered at this stage in the game with all of our mobility, technology and ability to be able to reach and survey remote places that we've had for a century now. Something would have been clearly and verifiably seen, found and proven (then tracked/trapped/studied/killed/put in a circus) by now.
