I remember Simon saying her voice was annoying and not good. Who would've know she'd be better than the last 5 winners combined....

Why do people still point out that Simon rejected her?

Just about every singer was told at some point they weren't good by someone of influence.

I think because it is known that Simon is the sole reason why she didn't make the live shows the year she was on idol, maybe thats why people are saying that.

I agree. It's really annoying. To be honest she wasn't as good on idol like she is now. She's improved so much.
