Nah, it's terrible really. The Pokemon that make it work have either amazing stats (Lugia, Mewtwo, Deoxys), a secondary typing that gives them a niche (Celebi, Slowbro, Starmie, Jirachi, Lati@s etc) or the amazing abilities (Alakazam, Espeon, Xatu, Reuniclus). It's definitely one of the worsts, and I feel like the Fairy type completely outclasses it, it may not be very visual this Gen because there aren't many Fairies compared to Psychic's yet. I am certain most Psychic Pokemon would like to have the Fairy type instead.

The typing is ok it isn't bad. It has a weakness to 3 types one is common, one got nerfed and another is rather uncommon plus it resists one of the most common types. But i agree Fairy totally outclasses it

They could have easily replaced completely the Psychic type for the Fairy lol, a mess. But sis, Dark types didn't get nerfed, the defensive capabilities of the Dark type Pokemon did, if anything they got even better offensively because of the the Steel nerf and Ghost buff, while Psychic gets virtually nothing. And well, yeah that's what I said, the Fighting resist is the only thing that it has going on for it, and even then the Fairies are here to snatch that wig.

Idk if psychic is piss poor for competitive but for me I like their designs the best & they always slay in-game for me

That only means they aren't completely walled by Steel types but it only real helps them with Ghost/Steel and Psychic/Steel types.
And the only Ghost Pokemon that got really buffed is Gengar who can get rid of dark types with Focus Blast and Dazzling Gleam and with the rise of some Pokemon who got retyped Dark types will have a hard time if they aren't extremely strong

Water is not only great offensive but also amazing defensively. So yeah it is probably the best type (maybe with Fairy type now)

No. It helps them against ALL the Steel types, barring maybe Bisharp... lol.

I sort of agree with Gengar being the only one really getting buffed, but that's because there aren't many super awesome OU Ghosts to begin with, their stats just don't cut it, which is sad, but it's still a great buff for the type in general anyway, and don't forget Aegislash will likely be OU (granted it doesn't care too much about it because it has Sacred Sword, ehh).

I agree with other part too, now that I think about if Fairies get overtly popular, Dark types will have problems and Ghosts will dominate. Another mess.
