All labels are though, I mean Interscope is even worse with American Idol artists, and RCA was really bad with them too when they did Idol contestants. Is there a good label, and not one that just promotes their biggest artist?
I wish is an amazing number. She doesn't have promo at all. If the woman in your avatar was singing that it would be a smash all over the place.
It's not about how good the song is though. It's flopping everywhere except the Bubbling Under chart (though even there it isn't even in the damn top 10 ). As far as making money is concerned it wouldn't make sense to release her album until the song/another single starts to smash.
