I watched episode 3 last night. I find this season incredibly frustrating. Some of it was utterly pathetic and ridiculous, but other parts I loved. But the bad stuff is just so, so awful. Also, I am no prude, but why is every single season SO obsessed with sex?

What if the butler is actually a Wizard and he, too, has a resurrection power of some sort or a healing power and he brings Madison back?

Maybe but a lot of closet cases trick themselves into thinking about girls so they can suppress their homosexual feelings. And who knows... maybe Nan was only hearing thoughts of friendliness and misinterpreted them as romantic.

To answer someone's question about all the sex... I think the creators and writers are very passionate about our society and the norms or ideals on sex. When Fiona called that bible thumper out on her prudish/perverted ways, I could sense that was going to be a common theme depicted in this season. If you think about it, they're showing every aspect of sex... the good (trying to have a baby), bad, ugly, perverted, twisted and sick (rape, incest, death, seduction etc) ways people have sex. And when you look at it that way, they're actually kind of tame in presenting it the way they do. Don't expect them to stop.

Also, it's been bugging me why I haven't enjoyed this season as much as I did the others and I realized today it's probably because this season focuses more on younger characters than the first two seasons did. It all seems a bit... teeny bopper. I'm sure it will pick up though.

Kathy Bates stole the episode for me. The "liiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeees" line () and her reading Queenie for filth:

I loved how Queenie seduced the Minotaur and the fertility ritual was beautifully shot! I loved that sequence.

This episode was so weird, but so amazing at the same time.

All the scenes with Fiona about the Supreme were amazing, watching it almost come full circle and then how it ended!! Even with Spalding at the end. I was beginning to think that FIona was only showing her to develop her powers because she was going to do some sort of body transfer spell.

But Queenie served in this episode I'm glad they've expanded her character a little bit. I'm hoping that somehow she'll meet up with Laveau for some potion and will join her side for a bit.

Kathy Bates' talents are shown effortlessly in her scenes.I'm just wishing she'll get out of this chamber maid role and back into the true HBIC that she's used to being.

I really don't think they'll make Luke gay thought, I have a feeling Nan would be able to tap into that thought even if he wasn't consciously thinking it.
