I suppose it does. But like, his ability is not essentially 2 attacks with the same power in a row. It's like normal power first then a decrease (by idk how much) on the second, it's still great though.

For the record: Blaziken and Garchomp were both already in the Ubers tier because they were overpowered. Their Megas will probably as well. Although it is possible Nintendo gave Garchomp a Mega evolution with lower speed to actually make it more viable in OU. But the regular (hidden ability) Blaziken was banned already, and Garchomp too.

I could definitely see Mega Lucario and Mega Gengar getting banned as well. Especially gengar. Do keep in mind that Gengar doesn't have levitate anymore and is Poison type. Earthquake will hit him HARD. But yeh, with that speed, try to actually get an earthquake fired. You won't.

For the rest: I don't really know, honestly. This is really just from current information, and I am far from an expert on competative battling. I've never done it

But Fraxure learns Outrage at lvl 60 and mine's still at lvl 37.
But it does have significant more power and Charizard doesn't mind Fairies as much as other Dragons idk.

I hate being locked into Outrage + the confusion afterwards though. It's terrible.

And about Kanga, yeah, except against Ghost types.
Normal/Fight would have been nice though, and she wouldn't have remained basic.

Keep in mind that Garchomp wasn't actually banned because he's overpowered. He was firstly banned because of Sand Veil, which in conjunction with Substitute and infinite Sandstorm made him broken, he's OU now because of Rough Skin, and he's been OU ever since that got released. So he'll most probably be OU this Gen and his Mega, IMO, won't even see that much use.

The others most likely will be banned though, it's pretty much a given, which is a shame. I mean Lucario may be banned or not but Gengar and Blaziken are pretty much guaranteed to be. Blaziken is the last Pokemon that needed a Mega, and he's already somewhat broken to begin with. And GF just ****ed up Gengar with Shadow Tag.

Froslass deserves a Sp. Atk buff, it's really weird that she is considered a Sp. Attacker yet she has 80 in that base stat.

Gengar has 50 more, and they have the same Speed, she's even frailer than he is, it's really not fair at all.

She needs at least 20 more in Sp. Atk .
