35) Justin Timberlake "What Goes Around...Comes Round"

Finishing at the 35th spot is Justin Timberlake with What Goes Around...Comes Around. Justin made a video which is about 9 minutes long and it features Scarlett Johanson as her lading lady. I never really like the video because it's obvious that it is too long and it is boring for me. But nevertheless, the song is good and this what makes it a bit higher in my list for 2007.



34) Fergie f/ Ludacris "Glamorous"

The 3rd single from The Dutchess takes on the no. 34 in my list. Fergie collaborates with rapper Ludacris with this joint which takes about fame and glamor of a superstar. The video is very creative seeing Fergie played a movie star. Glamorous peaked only at #6 in my countdown way back in February but still manage to be in a high peak in my list for this year.



33) Lifehouse "First Time"

Lifehouse only entry in my countdown is at #33 with First Time. The song is about being in love for the first time and Lifehouse did a suitable video for this song. It also has special effect which can be seen from the background and from their outfits. First Time even peaked at the top spot for one week and spend around 10 weeks in my top 20 list.



32) Jennifer Lopez "Que Hiciste"

Jennifer Lopez started the year with the release of her first ever Spanish album Como Ama Una Mujer. And with the album release, she choose Que Hiciste to be the first single. At first, I don't like the song cause I'm not even fluent in Spanish but after some listen to the song, it grew on me and the beat is just too upbeat that really make you wanna appreciate this song even more. Que Hiciste easily climbed my countdown every week and even peaked at no. 3.



31) Kanye West "Stronger"

Stronger by Kanye West occupies the no. 31 spot. What can I say, this one is the best rap song for the year and Kanye and his album Graduation is indeed one of his best. The video is so wow which features futuristic gadgets in it. Stronger samples Daft Punk's song Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger. This song peaked at no. 3 and spent 12 long weeks in my countdown.

30) Nelly Furtado "Do It"

Do It is one of my favorite song from Nelly Furtado's Loose album. The video is somewhat disappointing cause it just so simple and plain where Nelly is dancing with the giant feather and stuff. But even if the video is not that great, it still manage to make to the my top 30. Do It spent 11 weeks and peaked at no. 2 in my countdown.



29) Jesse McCartney "Just So You Know"

Just So You Know by Jesse McCartney is at no. 29 in my list. Yes, I know many of you hates him but this song is so good and Jesse delivers the song well. The video is also fine and very mellow. This is the only song from Jesse in my list for this year. It manage to be this high because it was this was released early this year. Also, Just So You Know peaked at no. 2 in my countdown way back earlier in 2007 and even spent around 10 weeks in the countdown.



28) Hilary Duff "Stranger"

Hilary Duff is back with a different sound with her successful album Dignity. The second single from that album is Stranger and I really like the beat of this one. Definitely, Hilary has mature with her music and even with her music video. She dances a little belly-dancing and shows a little sexy scenes in the video. This is just one of two songs from Ms. Duff in my list. The other one will be revealed later on.



27) Maroon 5 "Wake Up Call"

Wake Up Call is at no. 27. This catchy and sexy single from Maroon 5 definitely deserve a high spot in my list because of the tune and lyrics. Adam Levine definitely does another sexy video for Wake Up Call and even had jail scene in it. The song peaked at the top spot in my countdown but I've gotten tired of it after some time. So here is Maroon 5 with Wake Up Call at no. 27.



26) Boys Like Girls "The Great Escape"

One of the unexpected bands to like their music is Boys Like Girls. The Great Escape indeed is a cool song to listen. It grew on me that quickly after some few listen and eventually reached the top spot for two weeks in my countdown. The video features the band at their performance and at the back stage. A perfect song for going out of town and having trips I must say. Expect to see more of Boys Like Girls in year 2008.

Here are the 5 songs that didn't quite made it to the top 20...



25) Katharine McPhee "Over It"

Katharine McPhee placed 25th with her debut single Over It. The ballad is such a great song and Katharine McPhee instantly became one of my favorites after this single. When the video for this came out, I knew this will become a hit for Katharine and this help to be known to all. Definitely this is one of the best track from her self-titled album.



24) Gwen Stefani "The Sweet Escape"

Gwen Stefani's best single from her album The Sweet Escape is at #24. I should say this one is one of the most memorable songs for 2007. The video is so cute and creative where Gwen Stefani plays Rapunzel to have her sweet escape. Such a fun song and I just can't get it ignore throughout the year. The Sweet Escape even managed to reach the top spot in my weekly countdown and stayed for 10 weeks long.



23) Paramore "crushcrushcrush"

After appreciating Misery Business, Paramore's second single from RIOT! became instanlty my favorite song. The lyrics and Hailey's voice made the song have an attitude. The video is also good where we can see the band performing the song in a desert setting. Paramore had so far a great success with RIOT! and I hope their next single will also be a hit like crushcrushcrush.



22) Timbaland f/ Keri Hilson & D.O.E "The Way I Are"

Even though this only peaked at no. 5 in my countdown, The Way I Are managed to be as high as no. 22 in my list this year. Yes! the beat is just to damn amazing. This will really get you up and go to the dance floor. It also features Keri Hilson and D.O.E which makes this one of the best dance-track and collaboration this year. I don't know but there something in this song that makes me wanna play it again and again.



21) Nelly Furtado "Say It Right"

Missing the top 20 is one of the best song for both 2006 and 2007. Say It Right manage to chart at no. 44 last year but fortunately it also made it this year and even landed at no. 21. How can you ignore this song. Almost everyone worship this song and I'm not an exception to it. Nelly Furtado peaked at no. 1 three weeks in a row in my countdown with Say It Right. The reason this on the outside the top 20 because this only lasted for the first two months of the year. So here is Nelly Furtado with her last entry in my list with Say It Right.
