I didn't see that it was racist though, as much as ignorant. They asked some questions that they probably should have known prior to her interview, but it night have just been for the viewers watching.

I think you're more of the type to give the benefit of the doubt and turn the other cheek (which is admirable sometimes) and I'm not anymore. I know that someone like Diane Kruger would never be in this position so it's hard to ignore.

The assumption is the racist part. Racism isn't just Nazi-like or Jim Crow bigotry. Those are just extreme forms.

jajajajaja my friend is from PR and he got the same thing. he went to columbia in NYC and people were soooo surprised he didn't speak english like j.lo or daddy yankee. he told me people were more surprised when he said his mom is a doctor and his dad is a child psychologist

no it's not THAT racist, but it is still racist
