Q: So what are some ways you’re stacking the decks this year?

Edge: We have Britney the first week of December, which is one of the big ones coming, and the single is doing well right now. Then we have the Kelly Clarkson Christmas record, which we’re shipping a lot of records on.

Corson: It’s gonna be huge.

Edge: It’s an amazing album too. We have a great original song called “Underneath The Tree” where we’re going after that Mariah Carey, “All I Want For Christmas” gold.

It went top 10 in 10 markets and Top 20 in 8 Markets so yes it is doing well.

LOLz yeah because a random Country single that was released the day it was announced and just thrown to radio with no album attached to it is completely the same as one major and one, well, minor Pop lead singles from a new album. You tried though.

I'd hope it's doing better than TIU lol That was a free floating single to bridge her way into country. WB has been given WAY more promo and tons of hype and anticipation. How could you even compare WB to TIU

There's usually one HUGE Christmas album every year (or every few years). This year Kelly doesn't really seems to have any major Holiday competition, so she will likely dominate sales from late-November through December. The fact that she has original songs being released to radio are going help tremendously as well.

I would be surprised if this does less than 1.5 Million by the year's end, and am actually expecting it to far exceed that amount.

Christmas albums sell themselves, just look at Buble's iconic album. So just because Kelly flops a lot, it doesn't mean this will flop. It depends on the album and promo.
