30 Rock never gained an audience and it was miles better than Friends, so just be grateful they've kept this inferior (yet still fantastic) show on the air as long as they have. NBC really goes out on a limb for its talented vets (see Tina, Amy, now Sean).
Honestly, pretty much everyone on the internet has no idea what the **** is up with NBC. As if cancelling "Go On" was bad enough and giving Community only half a season's worth of episodes, they still managed to outdo themselves.
tbh....this looks like a bit of a "burn off" ....
P&R had a good run, and I credit NBC for honouring it. Most networks would have cancelled the show by now. Parks will "survive" a long hiatus, because the fans are loyal, but "survive" in this context, isn't saying much. I'd be surprised to see this picked up again after this season, especially since it will be losing main cast and it's already syndicated i'm pretty sure. So no reason to squeeze out even a truncated season.
