I feel like we've seen that scene like 8 times They need to stop teasing that and bring the Mother out.
I'm hoping with all the teasers we have gotten over the series when Ted and The Mother meet and Ted tells his story we will get to see shots of where The Mother was in the background or something.
Does anyone think that the Mother is the same girl Ted was supposed to meet, following advice from the matchmaking company, but then he chose Robin instead (back in season 1)?

I always thought that, since they have a 100% success rate.
So... wasn't Ted already married with a kid in 2015 or did the writers forget
I have no idea since I can't remember the time line, but that flash forward made me no longer have an interest to see to the end of the show. Everything seems resolved already.
What is it about rain that is a reoccurring metaphor in the series?
The yellow umbrella, in 'Something Old' when Ted did the rain dance to ruin Robin's camping trip with Sandy Rivers, the rain when Robin was looking for the locket, when Barney and Ted were at the beach holding hands and now when Robin and Barney share a really intimate moment.
I'm thinking it signifies the beginning or end of a relationship, (aside from Barney and Ted where it was used for humour). I randomly searched the show and rain and when the umbrella or rain comes into the show, its something significant.
Now that I've gotten scenes like the ending, I'm really hoping that Barney and Robin will get married. The behind the scenes story of Robin and Barney have been such a highlight for the last 2 seasons.
Am I the only one who thinks many of the jokes on this show have become so over the top?
Like the child driving the car or the whole elevator scene.
Or Barney's story arc this episode in general
Frances Conroy though>>>
