So I am in my adolescent class today and we quickly discussed adolescents being gay. By the end of the discussion the teacher says that there is no clear answer but research is much stronger in it being the Nature argument. She did however say since their is no clear cut answer that Nurture or our Environment also most likely plays a role (smaller) in adolescents becoming gay.
What do you guys think about this? I think a lot of things in our life is a balance between Nature and Nurture so it may be true but I'm wondering what would the Nurture part of the argument be for people being LGBT. We talked about possibilities but research showed no results.
It's natural. I've never been attracted to women in my life. Ever. I've always had a better connection with guys. And I've been surrounded by overly-religious homophobes my entire life. I remember when I was like 3-4 I had a crush on Timmy Turner and Randy from Chalk Zone because I thought he was cute(and I remember going hard one day watching the show too)

I believe in it's your genes because people are raised in homophobic environments and still turn out to be gay so obviously nurture didn't have anything to do with it then but the question I have is what happens with identical twins who are raised together and one turns out to be straight and the other gay. What's going on there
Ikr I mean It's not rare for lil boys get erections but it is weird that in this case it seems to be because of arousal instead of blood flow and self soothing stimulation.
