So I'm looking for a Dragonair with its Hidden Ability, but how do I pass it down to its child? Cause I found a good one with 31 IV's in HP and 31 IV's in Attack, and 25 in Speed, but I need another one with its hidden ability. Do both parents have a chance to pass down hidden abilities or just the mom or dad?

Last gen only females could pass down Hidden Abilities, but now males can too. The only caveat is that males pass down at a lower chance, but its still consistent enough to not be a huge issue. You can breed a male Pokémon w/ a Ditto and the offspring still has a chance of having its Hidden Ability, and females can breed w/ anything (I believe) and pass down the Hidden Ability at a great chance (60-80% I believe, can't remember exact percentage).

As of Gen 6, both can pass the hidden ability. the mom passes it 60% of the time while the dad has a small chance of passing it too (idk the %'s for the dad).
