The station intends to deliver exclusive music videos, live performances, news, interviews and more.
Interview: Diddy Speaks About Tonight's Revolt TV Launch, the Channel's Origins, and His Hopes for Its Future
Friday night, we sat down with Diddy in the Bad Boy offices and spoke to the legendary recording artist and entrepreneur to discuss the launch of his latest initiative: Revolt TV.
His plans for the station are ambitious. While marketing his last album, 2010's underrated Last Train to Paris, he found that in order to push his record on the largest possible stage, he ended up going onto network TV shows like Dancing With the Stars and American Idol in order to promote. "There was no number-one place you could go to."
At the same time that he recognized a TRL-sized void in the marketplace, he also noticed that energy and support for music in places like festivals was bigger than everand it wasn't even being covered.
Check the interview for more on his plans for Revolt TV, which launches tonight at 8 p.m. EST:

Diddy Says 'Revolt TV' Will Be Number One In Music TV
Diddy is on a press blitz for his new music TV channel Revolt, slated to debut tonight at 8:00 PM ET. This morning, he hit HOT97 to discuss what it's all about.
The mogul claims that roughly 80% of the channel's content will be music videos, but they'll be carefully curated and presented in a much different way than they have been on traditional music channels. He talks about how music is as big (if not bigger) than the sports world, but there isn't nearly as much journalistic depth given to music on television, and Revolt will have unprecedented access to a wide range of artists.
Diddy ended by reaching out to any and all talented creatives out there who want to be a part of Revolt TV. They're looking to work with as many driven and artistic young people as possible, especially those good with visuals.
Revolt is channel 105 on Time Warner Cable (and 692 in HD), so make sure to tune in tonight to see what Diddy has prepared for his next huge venture.

Sean Combs' Revolt music channel is here
Get ready for a Revolt in music.
The new cable channel from Sean "Diddy" Combs the rap mogul's calling it the "ESPN of music" hits the airways at 8 p.m. ET Monday.
Think of it as MTV if The Real World or The Jersey Shore or Teen Mom never happened. All about the music, baby, in the form of performances, videos, news and documentaries.
Combs told USA TODAY in July that he wants Revolt to "bring kids back to television" in a world where the Internet reigns supreme. But taking a closer look, he knows the boundaries are really less clear the channel will involve social media heavily and is intended to be available on multiple platforms such as smartphones, tablets and really anywhere you can currently stream media.
Revolt's content, Combs says, will be "highly curated" and won't be limited to certain genres. "We're looking for greatness, we're looking for great stars, we're looking for people who have something to say. Our bar is extremely high. ... There are other places artists will be able to get exposure, but when you make it to Revolt you will feel you've been authorized."
Comcast and Time Warner Cable will carry the channel from its launch tonight, reaching parts of most major cities.
Combs has been heavily involved with the promotion of the channel, even though he will not be a regular fixture in programming. He's posted Instagram videos, tweets and TV spots hyping up Revolt's debut.
