lol Being Top 50 on Itunes pop really doesnt say much and isnt much of an accomplishment...even without promo and being from the UK... maybe if it made the Itunes Top 50 songs then you could say something...but i wish the best for Leona here in the US..But i hope she doesnt come here thinking shes a shoe in for that #1 spot...but it could be...who knows...I love Bleeding Love though! Why the antagonism? She's probably the most mild-mannered, least egocentric "star" we've seen in years. Hasn't said a bad word about anyone, told the press to shut up and stop bothering Britney and Amy Winehouse whenever asked about it and continually praised the music of others. She didn't even think she'd be number 1 in the UK let alone break the sort of records she has (on minimal promotion).

It's a lame attempt at trying to be Mariah Carey. With a dull, almost non-existant "melody" with screeching, nasal vocals and stupid, cheesy lyrics. Just awful.

its just overrated, and yes its a failed attempt to copy mariah but its done in a good way!

It's a medium tempo song with a killer beat mimicing a heartbeat and a stunning vocal performance of a brilliantly metaphored lyric. Feels both retro and modern at the same time. Highly addictive and is shooting up the charts around the world in places Ms Lewis has not even seen on a map let alone promoted there.
Leona Lewis is apparently set to star in the next series of American Idol in a bid to crack the US.
The X Factor winner's mentor Simon Cowell thinks that his other TV talent show across the pond will be the ideal place to launch her career in the US.
A show source told the Daily Star: "We always like to invite established guests onto the show to give the contestants an idea of the level they need to reach. Leona, with her incredible voice, fits the bill perfectly."
The 22-year-old's album Spirit became the fastest selling UK debut ever.
She said: "It's really exciting but I'm just taking one step at a time. It's a fresh start for me over there because they won't know me from X Factor.
"It's a new challenge but one that I'm excited about."
She also admitted that she will always strive to work as hard as she can.
She added: "I think you have to be totally dedicated and hard-working. Things don't just fall on your lap, you must always remember that. You have to keep at it for success."
