Honestly can be perceived differently. The message of honestly is to simply be honest. Whether it breaks your heart or not, the betrayal or false sense of truth if nothing is said is worse than not knowing. Kelly is telling a story, she's not telling you to hate her. Simply be truthful.

Honestly is not my favorite song of Kelly's but it helped me through the toughest year of my life. Every lyric I feel & understand. Hell, I even have lyrics tattooed on me from the song. When people read it, they really like the message & understand it means truth. People respect & relate to that.
