Anyway, apparently, She is off-key in some parts of "Treacherous", or so I've read from a review many months ago. The review also highlighted Her vocal shortcomings in "Holy Ground" and "The Lucky One", iirc, stating that the lack of breath control slightly lessened the impact of those songs.
TLO and HG are both produced by Bhasker so it's safe to assume that they were both recorded around the same time, so maybe she was sick (she coughs in TLO) while recording both of them.

All I want from her is to keep singing on-key, which she's been doing since the start of the Red era, so I'm happy about that, and not to try belting in random spots in her songs where there's no belting in the studio version. That's pretty much it for me
"Perfect" vocals are on WANEGBT & IKYWT (which sound grating to me). Little-to-no touched vocals are on tracks like "Treacherous," HG, and TLO (which sound perfect and totally in Her range to my ears.)
And I actually find the occasional flops on vocal dept. to be pretty adorable sans few truly atrocious ones.
It's matter of personal taste really. I mean, I'm not that dumb.
I get it Disco and agree that WANEGBT and IKYWT sound grating (especially WANEGBT). Treacherous is obviously in her range and most of HG. I'll have to disagree about TLO tho. The lows are too low for her voice, studio or live, that her voice becomes shaky when she attempts to hit them and the highs are not really high, but jumping from low to high then low to high is not something Taylor was really trained to do.
And her vocal coach is dreadful btw, no wonder why Hayley Williams left him.
I only care for "Sex Dreams," the rest can remain in the trash can.

I listen to Gaga for melody and production. Her lyrics can shut the f*ck off for all I care.
Taylor has all three bases covered though. I love Taylor because She doesn't try to turn every song into a cheesy ass anthem mess, like some of Her contemporaries are currently delivering with their latest albums.
