It has nothing to do with ballads and midtempos and uptempos. It's moreso about the lyrical content and the way the songs come off. Her singing CLUB songs about dancing and drinking with EDM beats is so ridiculous it's literally laughable. It doesn't fit her at all. An example of a song that is still uptempo yet meaningful and genuine: "And Then We Kiss".

"fun" songs about being with her girls and running around town with a boy backed by thumping (but generic) beats is the worst for her.

& btw- ITZ was a personal album for her. Those songs represented what was going on in her life at that time. It's the perfect example of making a personal record without having to sing boring ballads.

I loved the whipping part , overall it wasn't the disaster I thought it was gonna be. She loosened up as the interview went on and when she talked it seemed pretty natural (for her standards post-breakdown) for the most part. The problem with her is like I said, she doesn't know how to act when someone is interviewing her.

Overall, it could've been worse.

If Britney is so f***ing horrible and you can't stand the person that she is (shy, anxious) then why do you all waste so much time on here talking about her?

Let Britney be Britney and stop melting down when she doesn't conform to the way you want her to act. She's said she's incredibly shy. She's publicly stated that she has anxiety. Yet people start melting down and dragging her for it. Instead of being upset at Britney for being who she is, find someone who fits your image of "an acceptable human being" to be a fan of. Or if you want someone who pretends to be someone or something they aren't, there are quite a few female pop stars out there that fit that bill too.

And who the f*** cares what the mythical "GP" or Twitter thinks? Shouldn't you like Britney because YOU like her or her music? Britney obviously doesn't care what people have to say about her, so why should you?
