WILD AT HEART COMMERCIAL

Sky Ferreira has been quite busy all over the country this week. From touring with Country singer-songwriter Taylor Swift to covering Playboy, and even lastly getting arrested along side Lindsay Lohan and Paige Elliot. Those possessions of cocaine, marijuana, and ecstasy put aside (along with the charges of resisting arrest and public intoxication) Ferreira has been quite productive. Her latest promotional placement is a commercial for her newly released debut album ‘Wild At Heart’. Met with critical acclaim and plenty of love from fans (as the charts demonstrate), Ferreira’s work has paid off. The bright and vibrant commercial for the album began with Ferreira wearing a collection from Forever 21. She stood in front of a green wall in a cheetah like outfit where she modeled for the camera. Blonde Ambition played in the background as she modeled until a black background came up and a voice spoke “The critically acclaimed and newly released album by Indie Pop Princess Sky Ferreira, ‘Wild At Hart’ Out in stores now”. A shot of the cover (that’s pink and indie influenced) came up on the screen as Blonde Ambition played over the still for a few seconds before all of it went to black.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on Jay Leno show

Phoebe Tonkin performed her single called Bedtime Stories on Jay Leno‘s late night show. Her performance was simple - Phoebe, infront of mic stand. Performance started with live band starting playing 20 seconds long intro, and during that long intro, Phoebe just playfully danced around the stage, just enjoying the sound of instrumental. When she stood infront of the mic stand, the intro was over and now Phoebe started singing. Her voice was beautiful and soft at first, but during first chorus, she did amazing vocals. Phoebe was wearing her favorite outfit so far, the one that she is feeling comfortable enough to perform - black loose crop top, then matching black loose pants and then she completed whole black inspired look with black Louboutin shoes. Her short hair was pulled into a small bun in the back, but her hair was still a bit messy.

Phoebe Tonkin performs on Adidas fashion show in New York, walks the catwalk

Phoebe Tonkin just appeared on Adidas fashion show in New York, where she performed her two songs, Midsummer Days and Bedtime Stories. Both of these songs sounded amazing, and people also heard Midsummer Days in a little bit more similiar sound to studio, final version, because so far, they have only heard Midsummer Days in acoustic version. First, Phoebe performed Midsummer Days with her live band, and it's a little bit more indie song, at least with indie influences, because it's more like indie pop song, something that would Foxes or Haim do. Even if it's an indie song, you could still hear beats, even if their quiet, but you can still hear them, if you listen more closely, which means Calvin and Stargate helped to produce this song too. It is a mid tempo song and Phoebe was dancing to it, smiling and dancing, because it's a fun song with fun, summery lyrics, it's like a nice summer-anthem. Later, Phoebe performed Bedtime Stories, and now, it was a bit more effective performance, because all of these lights were flashing to the beats and everything, and it looked like a nice performance. Pheobe's voice was on point and everything went right. And, after she performed, her band started playing a outro, and while that, she effective threw the microphone away and walked the catwalk/runway by herself, because she was wearing an Adidas top too, so it might happen that Adidas asked her to model a top too. She walked the runway and everyone in the audience went wild, screaming and shouting Phoebe's name. Phoebe was smiling while she was walking, and you could see, that she is a model for real, because that walk was amazing and sassy and diva-ish. According to the audience, that, when Phoebe walked the runway, was the best thing of the Adidas show.

K: I just think that he needs to get some help, he's really ill.
I: I agree, he targets celebrities and even tries to kill them!

Sky Ferreira’s new single and album ‘Blonde Ambition’ and ‘Wild At Heart’ have both been out for almost a week now and are ready to make their debuts on the charts come tomorrow. Sky Ferreira’s been everywhere from touring, to covering magazines, to appearing on big giant billboards in cities all over the world. And it didn’t stop there as Ferreira gave an interview to 102.7 KIIS-FM to talk about her new music and some pesky rumors that people aren’t letting up on. Listen below to our exclusive interview with the Indie Pop Princess that aired today right before the KIIS-FM 9@9.

Sky Ferreira is on the line with us. How are you Sky?
I’m really good, how are you guys?

We’re quite happy since you’re doing this last minute interview with us right before you go on stage. I hope we’re not holding you up.
No it’s fine. I’m just hanging out backstage. We just finished soundcheck and it was great.

You’re touring with Taylor Swift. Do you two ever like hang out with each other? 
Every night actually. We do things like listen to each other’s music, write sometimes. Or just eat some pizza or something. She’s really nice to work with.

What’s your favorite song of hers?
Tattooed Lines was my favorite song off her album.

Moving on to your album, ‘Wild at Heart’ released. How are you feeling about everyone hearing it for the first time?
It’s kind of strange. I wasn’t really ever big at first but now it’s like millions of people are like listening to my music. I never expected the album or any of the songs to blow up like it did so I made it every personal thinking hey maybe fifty thousand people max would hear it. But my label said I did that first week already so. Crazy.

We just played your brand new track with Paige Elliot? Tell us why you chose it as the second single?
It was a mutual decision between me and my label. We both wanted to continue the album campaign with another uptempo but one that was a bit different than Teen Queen. Paige had just finished releasing Ready For The Weekend so we called up her label and they gave it a thumbs up and now it’s the second single.

Tell us some about the music video.
I can’t tell you too much but it’s really sultry and hot. Expect a lot of skin and bright colors. I suck at describing stuff so just wait for it.

Are you dating anyone at the moment, Sky?
I wouldn’t say I’m dating someone but I’m kind of fond of someone.

Can you tell us who?
Hmmm, maybe later.

Ke$ha visited Jimmy Fallon on Friday.
He asked her about the Gladiator snippets and Ke$ha said that she will release them on Monday if Cold Hands goes Top 5.
She said that the second single will most likely be fast paced and talked about Gladiator.
They also talked about Perez Hilton and touring.
Ke$ha said that she has her tour all planned out.

Ke$ha was wearing a blue t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
She sang Cold Hands with two back-up singers, a band and three back-up dancers.
The performance was quick and simple. The end hahaha 100 words!

SKY FERREIRA GMA CONCERT

Sky Ferreira performed on Good Morning America this morning, flying out to New York early last night to make it just in time at 8 PM for her performance on the show. Ferreira is currently supporting Taylor Swift on her All At Once World Tour in which Ferreira will finish opening next week. Ferreira is expected too announce her first headlining tour later on this year. She performed six songs on the including songs from her compilation album and from her brand newly released album (which has been met with critical acclaim and commercial success) ‘Wild At Heart’. She gave a quick interview before going on stage.

Sky Ferreira is here to perform. How are you feeling Sky? You’ve done a lot of promotion for this album and your song?

I’m feeling a bit tired. Not me but my voice. I’ve been doing a lot of singing.

The Blonde Ambition video premieres later on today. What can we expect?

A great video full of lots of sexy scenes.

We’re so excited for that. Go ahead and take the stage. Look at the crowd waiting for you.

Blonde Ambition:

The stage was a blinding neon pink at the start before it started flashing as if it was about to blow out. It went from pink to black, back to black to pink before it settled on a blinding pink. Lasers formed a box and Ferreira appeared in a black blouse with a very short and cropped peplum black skirt with some high heeled boots that suited Sky perfectly. A catwalk slowly slid out from the middle of the stage as Sky began strutting as a hologram of Paige Elliot walked out on the stage, wearing the same outfit as Ferreira was currently. Sky stopped to do some choreography during Paige’s chorus, the hologram looking so realistic most forgot it was just Ferreira on stage. After Paige’s chorus was over the stage went dark and it was just Ferreira on stage, strutting down a catwalk to flashing lights as shirtless male dancers popped out from either side. She touched all over them, slipping a hand down one of their pants before they all dropped on the their knees in front of her. Lights started flashing again as the circled around her and picked her up where the camera panned above. She touched all over herself as the moved her in a circle. Back on the ground she one last dance routine during the chorus before she finished the performance with a Beyonce like pose, teasing the thong that was under her peplum dress that she lifted.

Teen Queen:

The performance started by a bunch of electric noises, like devices unplugging and plugging, like the power kept going off and on. There was platform on the middle of the stage and a bunch of computer screens served as the background. The computer screens lit up with the synch of the plugging until all of them turned on and began going to media sites like youtube, twitter, and facebook. The screens showed Sky's named being searched and her videos played on some of the screens. The screens started flashing on and off, in a vivid white. As they did that a high buzzing noise started until it reached a peak and the middle screens lit up in a pink square where Sky stood in a a black mini dress, her hair long and make up dark. All the other screens were white except the pink square. Sky began singing as the Teen Queen instrumental began. The crowd cheered and Sky smiled. As she began singing the coy pre-chorus, she smirked and leaned down as the words' 'Under my skirt, and little bad bitch' moved over the computer screen. The performance continued and when she got to the 'Teen Queen' lines, a crown would appear on the screens right above her head to make it look like she was actually wearing a crown. During the bridge the screens faded to static and cut off as smoke filled the stage. A pink light illuminated the smoke showing Sky's outline as she belted out the bridge before the instrumental in full production blasted and the computer screens exploded shooting out pink sparks and Sky sang the final chorus. At the end, all the screens cut on again with the words 'Teen Queen' printed across all of them in one big backdrop
