So, when did the Danity Kane reunion officially become a thing?
We went to lunch and the paparazzi were in trees and they caught us. It was one of those things where we were talking about maybe doing a reunion tour, but nothing was set in stone. We were kind of just talking and seeing how everyone was. And it turned into a two day trending topic on Twitter. It was kind of crazy.
And now DK is recording a full length album…!
Yeah, it’s turned into something way bigger. I think it’s because of our fan base’s response — we didn’t notice that they wanted us to reunite or that they cared, but their response was amazing and we couldn’t ignore that.
No Diddy this time ’round?
Nope, it’s totally on our own terms, it’s all on us. We don’t have a label yet, we’re independent right now. We wanted to keep our options open — there’s labels there, everyone’s waiting and wanting and knocking down doors. But we just wanna make sure it’s the right choices. Because we’re the ones making the decisions and you guys are depending on us to get it right this time, we’re a little bit more careful with everything now.
an your fans look forward to the classic killer Danity Kane choreo?
We would never stop doing what we are, we wouldn’t even understand that. That’s not even our nature. We are still DK, we aren’t gonna come back and all of a sudden not be DK. If anything, we’re gonna be DK personified, DK to the next level!
It’s allegedly just four of you this time around… No more D.Woods? Will you have a replacement member? Will it just be you four?
I’m not answering that, but I’m not saying that what we’ve given you right now is what you’ll see October 29th, because that’s the first time you’ll see us together again. New York City, October 29th, you’ll see exactly what we’ll look like!
DK is busy in the studio. Any producers you’d like to get you and the gals in there with?
I’d love for us to do something with Sia. I love her new ‘Elastic Heart’ record. It’s incredible. I just like her writing style and I always have. She makes great timeless records. I really love her melodies — she just gets it. She writes stories that everybody can relate to and you can see them vividly.
Y’all should totally be filming the making of the reunion… would you consider that?
I hope not. I never liked her because of her attitude. She missed her chance also would have seen her in the pics of the girls preparing for. The show. Unless she's been on the sidelines taking the pics of them
Juanita and her sideways mullet can stay in the backwoods of ATL for the rest of eternity. Not here for her jumping back on the DK wagon once all the fans got hype for the reunion. DK4 >>>>>>>
Not really here for her negative attitude possibly spoiling my DK reunion. She can remain in the ATL slums
But in all realness, I wouldn't mind D. Woods rejoining the group. Her tone works well with the group as a whole. As long as she puts a full effort towards being in the group again because I ain't here for her putting in some half-ass work if she really didn't want nothing to do with the group
She was a great performer and I liked her tone on certain records 
Although her attitude since the break-up has been kind of shady.
