Because they're so versatile! You can have potato chips, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, hash browns, french fries, potato pancakes, etc.

They're actually one of my least favourite foods. They're only good once you flavour them.

Versatile with multiple purposes: Baked potato, Chips/Crisps, Fries, Mash, Roast tatties, Boiled potatoes, Wedges, Cheesy Potato Skins etc. when will the others?

They are versatile and nutritious and it's possible live off potatoes and potatoes alone. But I prefer chocolate peanuts.
