Stating that you support gay marriage and performing with an openly gay man does not mean you are automatically exempt from all criticism from VIRULENTLY homophobic lyrics like these

There is no context that justifies them, much less coming from a STRAIGHT man.
And doing something "you didn't really mean" simply to be controversial does not exempt you from criticism or from your actions having consequences in the real world either

Millions of people look up to Eminem as an example, if they see their favourite rapper saying horrific homophobic **** like this it's worsening the oppression gay people face around the world, even if in a slight way.
