I'd have more respect for some of you if you were saying something along the lines of "Yes the lyrics are homophobic, but I still like Em and the song." Instead, some of y'all are going HAM and doing your damndest to defend the lyrics, explain why everyone should be cool with Em using the slur, despite his not being gay, and coming up with 50M dumb responses about how something is wrong with other people for pointing out that the lyrics are homophobic.

Discussing whether Eminem's lyrics are offensive, homophobic, sexist, et cetera is absolutely pointless.
That's his style, that's what made him famous, and that's what he'll continue to do until he is six feet under.
Eminem intentionally presses buttons; it's what he does. The only line Eminem doesn't cross is the racist line.

Can y'all actually name a song in recent history that is throwing around gay slurs. Y'all love to say "only Eminem is called out", but I don't really notice in homophobic lyrics in rap these days.

Yes, numerous because some of us listen to music outside of pop. I'm not saying the lyric was okay, but so many rapper have said worse recently. Since they aren't as big as Eminem they won't get called out for it.
